Jocelyn Woolbright is a Research Fellow at New America, focusing on the cybersecurity challenges faced by human rights defenders globally. As Program Lead for Cloudflare's Impact initiative and previously as a Policy Analyst, Jocelyn has contributed to various research projects addressing digital security. Prior experience includes serving as a Guest Lecturer in Cybersecurity at the Institute of Higher Sciences and Technology of Mozambique, where Jocelyn analyzed the cyber threat environment and educated students on pertinent cybersecurity topics. Additional roles include Program Coordinator at PLeDGE Health, Cybersecurity Policy Intern at New America, and Research and Policy Intern at the U.S. Department of State. Jocelyn holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs, with a focus on Cybersecurity and Portuguese, from Florida International University.
