Laurel Wamsley

Laurel Wamsley serves as the Editor in Chief at Cloudflare since October 2025. Previously, Wamsley was a Personal Finance Correspondent at NPR, covering personal finance and housing topics from November 2015 to October 2025, and held various roles including Cities Correspondent and Digital and Broadcast Reporter. Wamsley's experience also includes a fellowship with the International Center for Journalists, hosting and producing a podcast on urban improvement, and managing marketing communications for companies like Signal and Rackspace. Wamsley has a B.A. in History, Political Science, and Creative Writing from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.A. in Media Arts & Studies from Ohio University.
