Rich McMunn

Rich McMunn is an experienced leader in data center operations and engineering, currently serving as Director of North and South America Data Center Operations at Cloudflare since January 2022. In this role, Rich oversees all physical infrastructure assets and operations, focusing on improving deployment velocity to meet growing network demands. Previously, Rich held significant positions at Cloudflare, including Director of Data Center Engineering - Hyperscale, and at Google as Google Metro Leader, where oversight included a $1B data center campus. Rich's extensive background in the US Navy included various leadership roles in submarine operations and technical training programs, earning recognition for professional excellence. Rich holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
