Sofia Lajes

Sofia Lajes is a Data Engineer at Cloudflare, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Lajes worked at INESC Technology and Science as a BII Research Scholar, contributing to the development of the iReceptor+ gateway for querying AIRR-seq data while ensuring privacy. Additional experience includes a technical engineering position at Synopsys Inc. and serving as a teaching assistant for courses in Compilers and Computer Laboratory at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. Lajes was also active in student associations, with involvement in the Informatics Student Association and the Tuna Feminina de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, focusing on project development and event organization. Lajes earned a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in 2022.
