Verena Wingerter

Verena Wingerter is currently the Lead Threat Intelligence Analyst at Cloudflare, where they oversee the Cloudforce One initiative. Previously, as a Young DGAP Fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations, Verena published research on cybersecurity and its implications for domestic and foreign policy. They also served as a Threat Intelligence Researcher at DCSO Deutsche Cyber-Sicherheitsorganisation, focusing on nation-state threat activities and cybersecurity policy. Earlier in their career, Verena contributed as a Junior Project Officer at the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit, where they conceptualized and co-organized an international security conference. Verena began their professional journey as a Research Assistant at Freie Universität Berlin, analyzing security-related data for the EU-LISTCO Project.
