Paul McCarthy

Paul McCarthy has worked in the tech industry since 1999. Paul's first role was as a Programmer at Freenet in 1999. Paul then moved on to Programmer roles at Bailey Bailey & Bailey in 2000 and Jands in 2001. In 2004, they took on a Team Leader role at Oasis Asset Management. Paul then transitioned to a Senior Programmer role at Evanscorp in 2008 and a Change and Configuration Analyst role at ANZ Wealth Technology in 2010. In 2011, they became an Analyst Programmer at Pillar Administration. In 2012, they moved to ScriptRock as a Software Engineer. Since 2013, they have been at UpGuard, first as Director of Automation Architecture and then as VP Engineering. In 2020, they became Core Engineering Director at Cloudhouse.

Paul McCarthy attended the University of Wollongong from 1997 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree.
