Todd Nagengast

Todd Nagengast is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software testing and development. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Proofpoint since November 2017, Todd leads a distributed team focused on testing the Cloudmark Security Platform for email and mobile/SMS messaging products following Proofpoint's acquisition of Cloudmark. Beginning as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at Cloudmark in May 2008, Todd has consistently contributed to developing tests for antispam products. In addition to engineering roles, Todd is an owner at Nagengast Brothers L.P., a firm specializing in CADD design and drafting services since 2001. Previous experience includes a Research Associate position at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development and roles in network engineering and administration at various companies. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earned between 2003 and 2006.
