Erik Snijder

Erik Snijder has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Erik started their career as a Cloud Consultant at Diago in 2008 and remained in that role until 2014. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Lead Windows Engineer at Nines, where they led a team of engineers responsible for windows-based systems. Following that, they joined Sentia as a Senior Continuity Engineer from 2013 to 2019, and later became a Solution Owner Azure from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, Erik joined CloudNation as a Cloud Consultant, supporting GVB in the development of a cloud-first strategy with a focus on security. Erik then transitioned to De Nederlandsche Bank as an Azure Cloud Security Specialist, working via CloudNation. Currently, Erik is the Team Manager and Security Competence Lead at CloudNation, a role they have held since 2023.

Erik Snijder obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sport en Bewegen from Windesheim between 1995 and 1999. Prior to that, they attended Sint Vitus College from 1987 to 1994, where they completed VWO. Additionally, Erik has obtained various certifications from Microsoft and other institutions, including certifications in cybersecurity, Azure solutions, cloud platform, and network administration.
