Shadrak (Shak) Gobért has had a varied work experience since 2015. Shadrak (Shak) began their career as a Communications Assistant at Hydro One in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Projects Coordinator at Bell & Bernard Ltd. and as a National Team Administration at CESO|SACO. In 2018, they took on the role of Field Support at the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres (OFIFC). In 2019, they became a Data Analyst at the World Council on City Data. Most recently, in 2020, they have been a Customer Success Manager + Implementation Specialist at Cloudpermit.
Shadrak (Shak) Gobért obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Toronto in 2016, with a focus in Indigenous Studies/Environmental Studies. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Working with Heights from iRescue, and they also hold a First Aid certification.
