Akhilesh Moghe

Akhilesh Moghe has a strong background in software engineering and has worked in various roles throughout their career. Akhilesh is currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at CloudRail since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Persistent Systems from 2011 to 2022, starting as a Software Trainee and progressing to roles such as Senior Engineering Lead, Engineering Lead, and Module Lead.

During their time at Persistent Systems, Akhilesh focused on IoT Edge Computing scenarios across industries. Akhilesh evaluated cloud features/services from AWS and Azure suitable for Edge computing in IoT use-cases. Akhilesh also assessed open-source projects like KubeEdge, ioFog, and EdgeX Foundry for their features and suitability in defined Edge computing use-cases. Additionally, they worked on IoT projects using AWS IoT, Greengrass, and Robomaker services, with two projects successfully delivered.

In previous roles, Akhilesh developed applications in the Telecommunications & Multimedia, Embedded, and WebRTC domains. Akhilesh worked as a Middle Layer/Back-end Developer for a Screen Sharing Application on Windows, MacOS, and Linux platforms. Akhilesh also served as a Back-end Software Developer for a Video-Audio GChat Application based on the WebRTC Framework for Linux and Android platforms. Akhilesh has experience in porting and integrating open-source libraries/frameworks, multimedia formats, network/file share servers, and developing iOS applications.

Before joining Persistent Systems, Akhilesh started their career as a Software Trainee at ACTS CDAC Hyderabad in 2010. During this time, they gained knowledge in embedded systems and design, focusing on programming languages such as C and C++, data structures, and operating systems like Linux.

Akhilesh Moghe obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Embedded Systems and Design from CDAC Hyderabad in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a BE degree in Electronics & Telecommunication from Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur University from 2006 to 2010. Akhilesh'seducation history also includes a HSSC degree in Electronics from Pt. Bachharaj Vyas Vidyalaya from 2004 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Akhilesh Moghe obtained the following: AI on Jetson Nano from NVIDIA in March 2022, Docker Essentials from IBM in February 2022, and M001: MongoDB Basics from MongoDB in February 2021. Akhilesh also obtained a PG Diploma in Embedded Systems and Design from ACTS CDAC Hyderabad in February 2011.
