Noel Varghese

Noel Varghese has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. They started their career as a Technical Writer at keycybr, where they curated articles focusing on network security and digital forensics. They then interned at Haryana Police's Cyber Cell, where they conducted a case study on internet safety for children. Following this, Noel joined Crime Free Bharat as a Threat Intelligence Intern, assisting clients whose identities were stolen and using OSINT tools to solve cases. They also generated reports on phishing and advanced persistent threats. Currently, Noel works at CloudSEK as a Threat Analyst, excelling in customer research and identifying threats such as fake social media profiles, phishing domains, and brand impersonation attempts. They collaborate with CloudSEK's Underground Intelligence Team to analyze data breaches and stay updated on emerging security threats.

Noel Varghese completed their B.Tech in Computer Science, with specialization in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics from Vellore Institute of Technology between 2019 and 2023. Noel also pursued Hands on Cyber Security Learning in 2019. Prior to that, they attended The Elite English School in Dubai from 2012 to 2019 and The Kindergarten Starters in Dubai from 2006 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Noel has obtained several certifications. Noel received the arcX Foundation Level Threat Intelligence Analyst Certification from arcX in June 2023. In February 2022, they were recognized as a finalist in the Indian Army Cyber Security Hackathon by the Information Sharing And Analysis Center. Noel also earned the Junior Penetration Tester certification from eLearnSecurity in August 2021, and the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in October 2021. Furthermore, they hold the ISEA Certified Hygiene Practitioner certification from the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, which they obtained in October 2021.
