Cary Son

Cary Son is currently working as a QA Analyst for Cloudvirga since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a QA Analyst for SmartAction from 2019 to 2021. Cary was responsible for ensuring apps are matching specifications, viewing error logs from calls, tracking bugs and issues with tracking software via JIRA, basic understanding of SQL and Splunk, experienced using TestRail, identified gaps and assessed potential risk and issues, performed regression testing, acceptance, smoke testing, sanity testing, functional testing, integration testing, and a little of load testing, identified production issues and notified project managers and developers, and participated in reporting QA analysis. Before that, they worked as a QA Analyst for auticon US from 2016 to 2019, where they were responsible for ensuring that internal Auto insurance software application was working as expected per requirements from user stories, executing high level test cases with and without written steps, and assisting in creating test plans and leading QA efforts. Cary also worked as an Art Instructor Intern for Boys and Girls Clubs of America from 2013 to 2016.

Cary Son attended Long Beach City College from 2006 to 2011, where they studied Fine/Studio Arts, General. Cary then attended California State University-Dominguez Hills from 2011 to 2014, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art.
