Alex Gurr

Alex Gurr is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering at CloudWave since May 2021, where responsibilities include heading the product team, managing business strategy and performance, and overseeing engineering processes. Previously, Alex held key roles at Shootsta from September 2018 to April 2021, including Head of Architecture and Head of Engineering, managing global development teams and leading various digital projects. Earlier experience at BT involved web development and Java engineering, ultimately progressing from a Front End Web Developer to a Web Development Lead. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Swansea University, earned between 2011 and 2014.
