Bryony Blades

Bryony Blades is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Oxford, focusing on the evolution of Amazonian biodiversity over the past 30 million years. They previously completed a DPhil in Biology at Oxford, where they researched the biogeography and evolutionary dynamics of African invertebrates. Bryony's academic journey began with a BA in Spanish, followed by a Master's in Applied Ecology, achieving a distinction. They have also gained diverse experience as an ecology consultant, data scientist, and content executive, enhancing their proficiency in spatial modeling and programming throughout their career.
