Krishna Neupane is a highly experienced researcher and educator with a strong background in physics and biophysics. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Associate at the University of Alberta and the National Institute for Nanotechnology in Canada since 2009, Krishna focuses on the misfolding and aggregation of proteins such as ɑ-synuclein and prions using advanced optical tweezers techniques. Previous experience includes roles as a Teaching/Research Assistant at Kent State University, where teachings involved dynamic light scattering and calorimetry, and as a lecturer at various academic institutions in Nepal, where physics was taught to students at different academic levels. Krishna holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Kent State University and a Master’s degree in Physics from Tribhuvan University.
