Rosaline Barbour

Rosaline Barbour is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in health and social care. Serving as a Professor of Health Care at The Open University from July 2011 to February 2015, Rosaline conducted empirical research, managed PhD student supervision, designed qualitative methods workshops, and engaged in academic writing. Prior to this role, Rosaline was a Professor of Health & Social Care at the University of Dundee from October 2002 to June 2011, where responsibilities included research and academic writing, alongside similar supervisory and administrative duties. Rosaline also served as a Senior Lecturer in Primary Care Research and Development at the University of Glasgow from December 1998 to September 2002. Currently, Rosaline operates as an Emerita Professor and Workshop Facilitator at Barbour Workshops Ltd., which offers tailored workshops and masterclasses across the UK. Rosaline holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Aberdeen, earned between 1979 and 1982.
