Lachel Story

Lachel Story has extensive experience in the field of nursing and higher education, currently serving as Professor and Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Professions at The University of Southern Mississippi since August 2004. Previous roles include Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education, Director of the School of Leadership and Advanced Nursing Practice, and Executive Associate Dean. Prior to this, Lachel Story worked as a Nursing Instructor at Jones County Junior College from August 2002 to July 2004. Lachel Story earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center between 2003 and 2009.
