Derek J. Shelton

Derek J. Shelton has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field. Derek J. began their career in 2000 as the Information Technology Manager for the Metropolitan Evansville Chamber of Commerce. In 2004, they joined KDL as an Optical Transport Engineer. In 2007, they were promoted to Supervisor of Optical Transport Engineering at KDL. In 2010, KDL was acquired by Windstream Communications, and Shelton was promoted to Staff Manager of Access Engineering. Derek J. was then promoted to Manager of Transport Engineering and later to Director of Transport Engineering. In 2017, Shelton moved to MetroNet Inc. as the Director of IP Engineering. Most recently, in 2021, they joined CloudWyze, Inc. as the Vice President of Engineering.

Derek J. Shelton attended the University of Evansville from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Electrical Engineering.
