Ayr Muir

Ayr Muir is a highly experienced business leader with a strong background in sustainability and innovation in the food industry. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer (fractional) at Pascal and as an Advisor/Consultant for El Nacho Tortilla Chips, Muir also contributes as the Chief Sustainability Officer and Impact Director Peer Group member at Food Tank, where collaboration among leaders in sustainability is emphasized. As the founder and CEO of Clover Food Lab since 2008, Muir focuses on promoting meat-free meals and lower carbon food systems through new technology and supply chain strategies. Additional experience includes serving as a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners and a former consultant at McKinsey & Company, where strategic initiatives were developed for Fortune Global 500 companies. Muir's earlier roles include marketing at Patagonia and research at Polaroid. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School and degrees in Material Science and Engineering from MIT.
