James Arnold

James Arnold is an experienced professional with a strong background in data, technology, and economic consulting. Currently serving as Chief of Staff in the Office of the MA CEO at Clover Health since November 2021, James previously held roles as Director of Programs and Principal of Data and Technology at Blue Cross NC. Prior experience includes positions as Engagement Manager and Analytics Consultant at WebbMason Analytics, and Consultant at Frontier Economics, where expertise was applied in advising on merger cases for UK and EU competition authorities. An early career as an Economist at the Overseas Development Institute involved providing macroeconomic policy assistance to the Malawian Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning. James holds a Master of Arts in International and Development Economics from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford.
