Obi Nkemena

Obi Nkemena has a diverse work experience in the IT security and network optimization field. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Systems Administrator at Electronic Data Systems until 2007. Obi then joined Cadburys Schweppes PLC as a Network Consultant until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Network and Security Analyst at BT Global Services, conducting security audits and implementing necessary controls and procedures. In 2013, they joined Mondelēz International as a Network Optimization Lead, where they played a significant role in a three-year cloud migration program and optimized enterprise apps for improved user experience. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Tools and Reporting COE Lead at Mondelēz International, developing and maintaining analytical and reporting tools, synthesizing business intelligence data, and producing detailed reports. Currently, Obi is working at CLS Group as an IT Security Risk Consultant. In 2023, they will transition to the role of IT Security Specialist at the same company.

Obi Nkemena has a strong educational background, with degrees and certifications in various fields. Obi began their education at the University of Greenwich from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Following this, they pursued further studies at King's College London from 2006 to 2009, earning a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Technology. Later, from 2011 to 2014, they attended Alliance Manchester Business School, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on General Management and Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Obi Nkemena has also obtained several certifications. These include the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², which they obtained in August 2022, and the AWS certified cloud practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2022. Obi also holds the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from BSI, which was obtained in January 2010. Additionally, they have pursued a certification in Risk Management from City, University of London, although the specific dates of when this certification was obtained are not available.
