Pawan Vaswani

Pawan Vaswani has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Pawan began their career at Trans Market Group as a Business/Risk Analyst, where they played a crucial role in enhancing the legacy Risk Management System. Pawan collaborated closely with traders and stakeholders to analyze risk parameters and gather business requirements. Pawan also created functional specifications and use cases for the IT team. Afterward, Pawan joined JPMorgan Chase as a Business Analyst, where they focused on enhancing the Client Valuation and Collateral statement generation systems for Investment Banking. Pawan formulated a converged data model and identified areas for improvement in straight-through processing. Pawan then moved on to Crédit Agricole CIB as a Product Manager, leading a project to replace and enhance the legacy system used for calculating market risk and risk exposures for OTC derivatives. Pawan worked with the product director on various aspects of the project, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery. Currently, Pawan holds the position of Associate Director at CLS Group. Pawan successfully led the minimum viable product (MVP) for a new payments product called CLSNow, which involved implementing a payment vs payment processing model for same-day settlement. Pawan has a strong knowledge of SWIFT architecture, ISO 20022, and MT message formats. Pawan is also an expert in ACH-Fedwire, Faster Payments, Swift, and system solutions.

Pawan Vaswani completed their education as follows: from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Masters degree in Financial Engineering at New York University. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
