Stephen Shiu

Stephen Shiu has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on product management and project management roles. Stephen started their career at Sapient as a Java Developer, where they worked on various client engagements in the financial services sector.

Stephen then joined Scene Genesis as a Product Manager, where they successfully restructured the pricing strategy, resulting in a 20% increase in revenue. Stephen also initiated partnerships with complementary solution providers and managed a new marketing campaign that brought in over 30 prospective clients.

After their time at Scene Genesis, Stephen joined State Street as a Business Analyst and Project Manager. During their tenure, they held the position of Vice President and was responsible for managing various projects within the organization.

Currently, Stephen is working at CLS Group as a Technical Product Manager and Delivery Manager. Stephen plays a critical role in creating the strategic vision and roadmap for the development and implementation of a Unified Services Platform (USP). This platform aims to replace the legacy FXCore platform and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of CLS Bank International's CLSSettlement service. The roadmap includes multiple initiatives over a span of 7 years, culminating in the migration and cutover of the CLSSettlement service in 2021.

Stephen Shiu has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia Engineering. Stephen also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.
