Nicholas Yi-Fan Zhang

Nicholas Yi-Fan Zhang is an accomplished Equity Research Analyst with extensive experience in the chemicals sector. Since November 2019, Nicholas has led Japan chemical research at CLSA, a premier capital markets and investment group. Prior to this role, Nicholas worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Nomura, specializing in chemicals and textiles, and garnered recognition as an opinion leader in lithium battery, semiconductor material, and graphite electrodes. Nicholas began the professional journey as a Japan Macroeconomic Analyst Intern at Ji Asia/Societe Generale, focusing on regional banks and local economic correlations. Additionally, Nicholas contributed as a student volunteer for the IMF World Bank Annual Meeting in 2012. Academically, Nicholas earned a Master of Economics from The University of Tokyo and a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Hong Kong, with a minor in Geography.
