Hugh Laughlin

Hugh Laughlin, CISM, MSNT has a strong background in information technology security and privacy. Hugh has held various roles throughout their career, including Information Technology Security & Privacy Director at Club Car, Information Technology Security Director at Brighthouse Financial, Information Technology Security Manager at Sealed Air Corporation, and Information Technology Infrastructure Manager at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies. Hugh has demonstrated expertise in managing IT security, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, and implementing critical mitigating controls. Hugh has also been responsible for IT compliance programs, coordinating IT audit activities, and completing merger and acquisition integration activities. Prior to their work in the private sector, Hugh served for 24 years in the US Navy Reserve, where they gained extensive experience in public affairs and strategic communications.

Hugh Laughlin, CISM, MSNT completed their Master of Science degree in Network Technology and Information Security at East Carolina University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with minors in Business and Telecommunications from Indiana University Bloomington between 1996 and 2005. In addition, they hold the certification of Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, which they obtained in 2016.
