Mauri Brooks

Mauri Brooks (Gustafson) is a CPA with extensive work experience in tax roles. Mauri is currently serving as the Global Tax Director at Club Car, where they manage and coordinates a team of tax advisors and auditors to ensure tax compliance and support business initiatives. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Tax Director at vineyard vines and Le Creuset. Mauri also has experience at Chipotle Mexican Grill, where they served as the Sales & Use Tax Manager and State and Local Tax Analyst. Mauri began their career at Deloitte as a Tax Senior in Multistate Tax Services. Throughout their career, Mauri has demonstrated expertise in tax consulting, compliance, and savings strategies.

Mauri Brooks (Gustafson), CPA holds a Master of Business Taxation degree from USC Marshall School of Business, Leventhal School of Accounting, which was obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, Mauri earned a BBA degree from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, with a focus on Financial Consulting and a minor in Sociology, spanning from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, Mauri participated in a Study Abroad program at Curtin University in 2009. Previously, Mauri completed high school and obtained a High School Diploma from Spring Creek Academy in 2006. Furthermore, Mauri has obtained the title of Certified Public Accountant from the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation in 2019.
