John Pigott has extensive work experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. John started their career as a Sales Representative at Xerox Canada in 1980 and worked there until 1986. John then joined Morrison Lamothe Inc, where they served as Vice President from 1986 to 1989 and later became the CEO in 1989. Morrison Lamothe provides contract manufacturing services in frozen prepared foods and coffee roasting. In 2007, John joined Club Coffee L.P. as the President and eventually became the CEO in 2012. Club Coffee is a leading provider of consumer-ready coffee for retail grocery and foodservice channels in North America. They specialize in single-serve coffee cups for private labels and famous national brands.

John Pigott received their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Western University from 1976 to 1980. Prior to that, they attended Upper Canada College from 1969 to 1976. No degree or field of study was specified for their time at Upper Canada College.
