Jo Whittall has extensive experience in the housing and maintenance industry. Jo currently holds the position of Deputy Chief Operations Officer at Clúid Housing, where they are responsible for the overall operations of the organization. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director of Property Services at Clúid Housing, overseeing property-related initiatives and strategies.
Before joining Clúid Housing, Jo Whittall served as the Operations Director at DCH (Devon & Cornwall Housing Ltd), where they were in charge of managing a comprehensive range of repair and maintenance services for a large property estate. Jo successfully grew the in-house repairs team and implemented cost-saving measures while ensuring 100% compliance and high customer satisfaction.
Jo Whittall also held the role of Regional Manager at ACS Building & Maintenance, where they established and developed a domestic insurance repairs business. Additionally, they served as Director at WPS and Partnering Director at Morrison FS, where they contributed to the growth and success of each organization.
Furthermore, Jo Whittall's career includes experience as a Transformation Project Manager at Homeserve and National Maintenance Operations Manager at Ian Williams Ltd. Jo played instrumental roles in driving business development, securing contracts, and leading operational improvements.
Earlier in their career, Jo Whittall worked as the Regional Operations Director at Willmott Dixon, where they implemented a new company structure and achieved significant overhead reductions.

Jo Whittall completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Building Technology from The University of Manchester, attending from 1978 to 1981. Following this, Jo pursued an MBA degree in Business from Cranfield School of Management, attending from 1987 to 1988.
