Omar Said López Tronco, CFA

Omar Said López Tronco, CFA has a long and varied work experience. From 2007 to 2017, they held various roles at Grupo IAMSA, including Director of Risks and Subdirector of Financial Planning. From 2008 to 2010, they were a professor at UNAM, where they taught Estadística I, Matemáticas Actuariales del Seguro de Personas I and II, and Matemáticas Actuariales del Seguro de Daños. Omar Said was also the Coordinator of the Actuaría y Seguros area in the restructuring of the curriculum. From 2015 to 2017, they were Subdirector of Technical and Financial Risk at Seguros Monterrey New York Life. In 2020, they became the Chairperson of asociacion insurtech me, and in 2017 they founded and became the CEO of CLUPP.

Omar Said López Tronco, CFA, obtained a CFA from the CFA Institute in September 2013. Omar Said received their Lic. in Actuaría from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2007, and their MSc. in Administración de Riesgos from the same institution in 2011. Omar Said is currently enrolled in Y Combinator's W22 program, which they began in 2022.
