Marco Borra

Marco Borra has a diverse background in scientific diplomacy and marine biology, currently serving as the Scientific Attaché at the Italian Embassy in Paris since March 2023 and at the Italian Embassy in Monaco since February 2024. Previously, Marco held leadership roles, including Head of the Research Infrastructures for Marine Biological Resources Department at the European Marine Biology Resource Centre from April 2014 to March 2023. In addition, Marco contributes as a Governing Board member for the Cluster BIG - Blue Italian Growth since July 2021 and has been affiliated with Stazione Zoologica A Dohrn as a PhD scientist since December 2005. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cellular Biology from Università della Calabria and a Bachelor's degree in Classical Studies, Biological Sciences, and Mathematics Physics and Natural.
