TJ Karwal has a long history of work experience in the technology industry. In 2007, they began their career at Cisco Systems as an Associate Systems Engineer in the Cisco Systems Training Program. After completing the program with a CCNP, they moved into the role of Sales Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for building innovative and leading technology architectures for customers in the Higher Education, Local Government, and K-12 markets. In 2013, Karwal joined Cisco Meraki as a Consulting Systems Engineer, where they helped architect, design, and significantly influence large corporate technology rollouts for customers such as Tesla, Levi's, and Sony. In 2014, Karwal co-founded Riverside I/O, where they developed TuMee, a project/startup that optimized on demand delivery for the user. In 2015, Karwal co-founded Cluster Networks, a Managed Services Provider based in San Francisco. As the President & Co-Founder, Karwal is responsible for developing and implementing customized and secure IT infrastructure solutions for nearly every industry.

TJ Karwal obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the College of Engineering at Cal Poly between 2002 and 2007. In August 2010, they were awarded the CCIE Routing and Switching certification.
