Cluster is founded by Wisconsin native and edtech veteran Kim Taylor. Based in Los Angeles, Cluster is Kim's second venture-backed technology company funded by Mark Cuban. Previously, she spent a decade in the edtech sector and exited her first company to publishing giant John Wiley & Sons.

She has been featured as a workforce and higher education expert on CNBC, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Chronicle of Higher Education. Cluster was inspired by her family's history in advanced manufacturing and her background in online training.
