Kari Gunnarsson

CEO & Co-Founder at Clutch

Kari Gunnarsson has a diverse work experience. Kari is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of Clutch, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, Kari worked as a professional badminton player for World Tour from April 2017 to March 2020, participating in tournaments in over 40 countries and achieving a top 100 world tour ranking. Kari also played a role in building an online sports community with Icelandic Olympic athletes. Before their career in sports, Kari worked as an Associate at Innovation Centre Denmark from August 2016 to February 2017. Kari also gained experience as a Student Assistant at the Centre for Advanced Security Theory - CAST from April 2014 to June 2015, where they contributed to research projects on international security. Kari's work experience started in 2012 as a Research Assistant for Martin Breum, a position they held until January 2015.

Kari Gunnarsson pursued Postgraduate courses in Political Science at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the same university. Moving further back, Kari completed their high school education at Gammel Hellerup Gymnasium, where they received a High School Diploma. Their studies at Gammel Hellerup Gymnasium encompassed subjects such as Social Sciences, English, and Mathematics.
