Harsh Shukla

Harsh Shukla has held several positions in the data engineering field. In 2021, they began working as a Data Engineer for Clutch, where they design and implements automated ETL pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, leverages DataOps tools to facilitate automated configuration and deployment of data services and platforms, works with product and business teams to design and support self-service dashboards, develops automated data quality checks for source and target data, and supports and improves data science processes.

In 2019, Shukla was the Director of Sports Science Data for BARWIS, where they developed and implemented custom API data pipelines to bring performance device data to a third-party Athlete Management System (AMS), and developed custom designs of individual performance dashboards for athletes, coaching staff, and performance staff for day-to-day and period performance reporting.

Also in 2019, Shukla was a Research Assistant at the Data Systems and Optimization Laboratory at the School of Computing at DePaul University, where they researched and gathered data, cleaned and organized data, calculated features, and performed various analysis to leverage insights from data.

In 2017, Shukla was a Classroom Tech Assistant at DePaul University, where they worked with customers to understand requirements and provide exceptional service, performed various administrative functions, including preparing reports, handing equipment orders, and inventory maintenance, and analyzed classroom equipment and software issues to identify troubleshooting methods needed for quick remediation.

In 2016, Shukla held a position as a Data Analyst for Web big2day, where they coordinated statistical data analysis, design, and information flow, and corrected any data entry errors to prevent future issues.

Harsh Shukla completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Gujarat Technological University between 2012 and 2016. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science in Data Science with Computational Methods from DePaul University Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media in 2019.
