Garrette Backie

Garrette Backie has had a long and successful career in the technology industry. Garrette began their career in 1997 as the COO of H.E.Services Company, where they formed major preferred supplier accounts providing staffing service solutions. In 2005, they became the President of PBJ, where they provided consulting and development services, as well as discovering tax credits, exemptions and future savings on utility auditing. In 2007, they took on the role of Federal DOD at CDW-G LLC, where they were experienced in government accounts with the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, ONI, Navy, NPS, USACE and Army. In 2014, they became the Director of DH Technologies, where they facilitated sole source and DPAS rated requirements, worked closely to provide SOW assistance, planned and designed life-cycle roll outs and management, as well as partnered closely with SDVOSB/8A/small business/woman owned/hub-zone and disadvantaged companies. In 2017, they founded and became the CEO of Clutch Solutions, where they focused on infrastructure, systems, network, storage, security, database, backup/recovery, windows, linux, cyber security, file, NAS, SAN, COOP, disaster recovery, cloud, email, ex-change, patch MGMT, VDI, hyper converged, VSP VSI, server, desktop, data, VMware, virtualization, archive, SQL, AI, IoT. In 2020, they founded and became the CEO of Clutch Solutions Canada and also became the Founder and Partner/Board Member at Pinacore. In 2021, they founded and became the Founder and Principle at Brandendo.

Garrett Backie attended Detroit Country Day/Eaton Academy, where they obtained their High School degree. Garrette then attended Michigan State University, followed by Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth, where they completed the program "Building a Successful Diverse Business".
