Chris Clarke

Chris Clarke, CPA, CA has extensive work experience in various financial roles. Chris is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for CLV Group. Prior to this, they worked as the VP Finance at Allyant, where they played a crucial role in professionalizing the Finance function and overseeing accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and debt servicing. Chris also managed the finance team and contributed to the company's growth through acquisitions. Chris Clarke had their own CPA, CA Advisory Services before joining Allyant.

Furthermore, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at ProSlide Technology Inc., where they were responsible for managing several corporate services functions and achieving key financial milestones. Chris was also the Vice President Finance at Modern Niagara Group Inc., where they oversaw finance operations and integrated a newly acquired business unit.

Earlier in their career, Chris Clarke worked as the Director of Financial Reporting & Planning at Plasco Energy Group, where they implemented financial reporting and planning functions. Chris also worked at Ernst & Young as a Manager in Advisory Services and at Aimia Inc. as the Vice-President of Corporate Controller. Their role at Aimia Inc. involved improving communication with global subsidiary finance teams and streamlining financial processes.

Chris Clarke's career began at Brookfield Renewable, where they served as a Senior Manager in Corporate Reporting. Chris also worked at Allen-Vanguard as the Director of Finance, managing financial services and compliance with reporting requirements.

Chris Clarke, CPA, CA has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree in Accounting & Finance from Memorial University of Newfoundland, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. In 1997, they also received the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). In 2010, they obtained an IFRS Certificate from ICAEW.
