As vice president of equipment & facilities, Ray Gammell oversees the management of all equipment, fleet vehicles, and facilities throughout Clyde Companies. His previous positions include equipment manager for Geneva Rock Products, truck superintendent, and heavy equipment operator. Ray has worked for Clyde Companies for 40 years. At 15, Ray began working for his grandfather, W.W. Clyde, in his garden and at the Utah Valley Industrial Supply (now Sunroc Building Materials). As he advanced his way through the company he obtained an associate’s degree from Utah Technical College in Business Management. He has served in his community as a coach for youth baseball and basketball and as the co-chair of the Mapleton 24th of July celebration. He and his wife Lori have two daughters, two sons, and three grandchildren.
