Mike Sterry

Mike Sterry has a diverse work experience in communications and journalism. Mike is currently working at Virgin Money as the Head of Colleague Communications and has previously served as the Transformation and Business Communications Lead. Prior to joining Virgin Money, Mike worked at Tesco Bank as the Senior Internal Communications Manager. Mike was responsible for leading the Colleague Communications team and developing the Colleague Communications strategy. Mike also played a key role in shaping the communications plan for the bank's transformation program. Before Tesco Bank, they worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland as a Communications Manager, where they served as a Communications Partner for Technology Services India & Asia, led the Retail Communication's Digital team, and was in charge of executive communications for UK Retail CEOs. Earlier in their career, Mike worked as a Digital Content and Social Media Manager at Caliberi, where they managed content and communication for a digital marketing agency. Mike has also worked as a journalist for various outlets as a self-employed individual and as the Acting Reviews Editor and Staff Writer at Future Publishing.

Mike Sterry attended The University of Edinburgh from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in English Literature. Mike obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in English Literature.
