Richard Plastow

Richard Plastow is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in hotel and real estate finance. Currently serving as Director of Hotel & Real Estate Finance at Virgin Money since March 2020, Richard oversees the bank's corporate hotel finance portfolio, focusing on senior debt for hotel developments and investment transactions across London and key UK regions. Prior to Virgin Money, Richard held various roles at Clydesdale Bank from December 2008 to March 2020, including Associate Director of Hotel Finance, where the emphasis was on hotel development and trading assets. Richard's earlier experience includes roles in Business Banking and Customer Service at Clydesdale Bank and Lloyds TSB, further cementing expertise in relationship management and corporate finance. Richard's educational background includes attending Bishop Ramsey from 1997 to 2004.
