Roger Hammer

Roger Hammer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Roger started their career as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at UMM Electronics, where they managed projects from concept development to implementation. Roger then worked as a Functional Project Leader Consultant at Roche Diagnostics, where they coordinated a US team on an international project and developed an engineering schedule.

In 1998, Roger founded their own company, Hammer Systems & Software, where they served as Chief Consultant until 2001. During this time, they also worked as a Consultant at Roche Diagnostics, focusing on coordination and schedule development for consumer medical instrument development.

From 2001 to 2004, Roger worked as the Director of Product Management at DoubleTake Software, where they developed company-wide product lifecycle processes and oversaw product management efforts. Following this, they became the President of Strategic Business Innovation, where they led process improvement projects and implemented innovations for a television and retail sales business.

From 2006 to 2016, Roger served as the Director of Products & Services at blackboxIT, Inc., where they guided the evolveIT product roadmap and managed blackboxIT consulting services. During this time, they also led consulting engagements for various high-profile customers.

In 2016, Roger joined CM First Group as the Senior Application Consultant and CM evolveIT Product Owner. Roger later became the Director of Software Development & Services.

In addition to their corporate roles, Roger has also been involved in local government. Roger served as a member of the Knightstown Town Council in Knightstown, Indiana, from 2016 to 2019. Roger then became the Vice President of the Knightstown Redevelopment Commission from 2019 to 2020 and is currently the President of the Knightstown Indiana Redevelopment Commission.

Roger Hammer completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electronics & Computer Technology at Indiana State University from 1980 to 1985. Roger also obtained additional certifications, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 1999 and another PMP certification in December 2000.
