Patrice Bergamini

Patrice Bergamini currently serves as Diplomatic Adviser to the Chairman & CEO and Vice President of Public Affairs, Governmental Contracts & Business Development at CMA CGM since September 2020. Prior to this role, Bergamini was the Ambassador of the European Union to Tunisia and Head of Division for the Southern Mediterranean at the European External Action Service from March 2012 to August 2020. Bergamini's extensive experience in the European Commission includes serving as Special Adviser to the Vice-President from March 2010 to February 2012. From November 2001 to February 2010, Bergamini held multiple advisory roles within the Council of the European Union, including Deputy Head of Cabinet for Javier Solana. Earlier career experiences include positions at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry of Armed Forces.
