Sam Camacho

Sam Camacho currently serves as the Engagement Lead for the Emerging Leaders Committee at the CMAA of Southern California, a volunteer position held since September 2023. Sam has extensive experience as a Senior Project Engineer at Bernards since June 2019, contributing to several projects for the South Orange County Community College District, including the Advanced Technology and Applied Sciences Building and the Gateway Building projects. Prior roles include internships in Facilities Planning with the Long Beach Unified School District during significant capital improvement initiatives and a drafting internship at Rivers and Christian Architecture focused on American Airlines projects at LAX. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in City & Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned in 2018.
