Jordan Apfeld

Calpac Med Student Representative at CMA

Jordan Apfeld is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in policy and medical representation. Currently serving as the Vice-Chair of Policy for Region 1 at the American Medical Association and as the CALPAC Med Student Representative for the California Medical Association since 2014, Jordan has significantly contributed to medical policy and advocacy. Previous roles include Web Content Manager at Healthy TN, Coordinator at the Vanderbilt Center for Health Policy, and Research Intern at CSIS, along with research positions at the Kenya Medical Research Institute and Roberts Biomechanics Laboratory at Brown University. Jordan earned a Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from Brown University, complemented by a semester abroad focused on Development, Health, & Society in Kenya through the School for International Training.
