Associate Director Of Practice Transformation Services, CMA Physician Services at CMA

Rachel Proud, MPH has a diverse work experience with expertise in practice transformation, quality improvement, and health policy. Rachel is currently serving as the Associate Director of Practice Transformation Services at the California Medical Association (CMA) Physician Services. Previously, Rachel worked at Elevation Health Partners as a Senior Managing Consultant and Senior Quality Improvement Consultant, where they provided support for business development, led quality improvement projects, and worked with various health centers and practices in Los Angeles County. Rachel also served as a Quality Improvement Consultant on the Los Angeles Practice Transformation Network (LAPTN) Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative, focusing on improving outcomes for patients with diabetes and/or depression. Rachel's prior experience includes working as an Intake Patient Advocate for MedData, assisting patients with health insurance eligibility and applications, and as a Fit Lab Attendant at UC Irvine | Anteater Recreation Center. Rachel also interned at AIDS Services Foundation Orange County. Overall, Rachel has demonstrated their dedication to improving healthcare outcomes and has a strong background in practice transformation, quality improvement, and health policy.

Rachel Proud, MPH, obtained their Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Southern California from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Health Policy and Dance at UC Irvine from 2009 to 2013. Their secondary education was at Ponderosa High School from 2005 to 2009.

Rachel has also acquired additional certifications. Rachel became a Certified Enrollment Counselor through Covered California in October 2013. Additionally, in July 2013, they obtained an MSN (Medical Safety Net) certification from the Hospital Association of Southern California.
