Sheirin Ghoddoucy

Sheirin Ghoddoucy serves as Senior Legal Counsel at the California Medical Association since September 2022, following a significant tenure at the California Department of Insurance, where responsibilities included attorney roles focused on healthcare reform policy development and state regulation of health insurance from December 2011 to September 2022. Previous legal experience encompasses positions in various capacities at Black Letter Discovery and Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, specializing in e-discovery, insurance coverage, commercial litigation, and corporate law. Sheirin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis - School of Law and completed a visiting student program at New York University School of Law, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
