Udson Cabral Mendes

Team Leader, Quantum at CMC Microsystems

Udson Cabral Mendes is an experienced physicist specializing in quantum technologies, currently serving as the Team Leader at CMC Microsystems since August 2021. Previously, Udson held the position of Research Associate at the Institut quantique - Université de Sherbrooke from September 2016 to August 2021, where significant contributions included developing a numerical model for quantum information transmission and securing research grants through innovative project proposals. Prior to that, Udson was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratory Pierre Aigrain, focusing on circuit quantum electrodynamics, and worked as a Guest Researcher at the National Research Council Canada, contributing to the theory of charged quantum dots. Udson holds a PhD in Physics from the State University of Campinas and a Master’s degree in Physics from the Universidade Federal de Goiás.
