CMC Telecommunication Infrastructure Corporation (CMC Telecom) was established in 2008 and is jointly owned by Vietnam’s CMC Group (a leading ICT firm with 25 years’ operating history in Vietnam) and TIME dotCom (Malaysia’s second largest fixed-line telecom service provider). CMC Telecom is one of a strictly limited number of operators granted licenses by the Vietnamese Government to build and operate its own network infrastructure and provide all telecommunication services including Broadband Internet (FTTH, Internet leased line), international and domestic data connectivity, Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, IBM Managed security, Data center, international and domestic voice etc. It is the only such company that is 100% privately owned and which has an overseas shareholder. With strong financial and technical support from its shareholders, CMC Telecom has focused on building and developing network infrastructure and telecommunications services, using 100% fiber optical cable to connect to major cities and provinces in Vietnam and step-by-step expansion of international interconnections with partners in the region and worldwide. Entering the telecommunications market later than other providers in Vietnam, CMC Telecom has gradually asserted its position with a business strategy focused on competitively providing high-quality telecommunications services.
