Bill Sheu, Ph.D., P.E. has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Bill began their career as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma in 1978, where they worked under Dr. Thomas M. Murray. After completing their role at the university, Bill went on to work at Symons as the Chief Engineer of the Houston Branch. Bill then joined Shepler's Equipment Co. as the Engineering Manager before moving on to RMD (Rapid Metal Development Ltd.) USA, where they served as the Director of Engineering and Far East Representative. Bill later worked at Chiaou Corporation as a Manager/Consultant and then became the Vice President at Da Hsu Engineering Corp. After that, they joined CMC Construction Services as the Director of Engineering, before transitioning to a role as Chief Engineer at BETCO Scaffolds. In 2004, Bill returned to CMC Construction Services as the Chief Engineer and continued in this role until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Lecturer at the University of Houston.
Bill Sheu, Ph.D., P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University between 1969 and 1973. Bill then pursued a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma from 1977 to 1980. Later, they completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston between 2007 and 2010.
