Garret Kent is an experienced energy professional with a strong background in energy management and consulting. Currently serving as the Director of Energy at CMC since October 2018, Garret previously held roles including Energy Manager and Portfolio Manager at Power Brokers, LLC, where responsibilities included risk monitoring and cost evaluations in the energy market. Prior positions include Energy Consultant at Power Brokers, an intern at Encore Acquisition Company focusing on accounting, Securitization Intern at Goldman Sachs Commercial Mortgage Capital, Sales Representative at Suez-Tractebel, and Energy Marketing Manager at Reliant Energy. Garret holds an MBA from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Pepperdine University.
