Jon Underwood

Jon Underwood is an experienced purchasing supervisor with over a decade of service at Commercial Metals Company, having progressed from a senior buyer to a leadership role in procurement. Responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, controlling material costs, and optimizing inventory levels while contributing to supply chain goals through data analytics and cost-reduction strategies. Prior to this role, Jon held positions in maintenance supervision and planning at TRW and Anchor Brush, where expertise in lean techniques and multi-craft maintenance leadership was demonstrated. Jon holds an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology from the Tennessee Institute of Electronics.
